Role of Kerala in Ayurveda treatment

Ayurveda, the science of life, is the oldest healthcare system in the world. Kerala is a traditional stronghold of ayurvedic treatment and the kerala government itself supports ayurvedic tourism which is a big source of revenue for the state. Some of the South Indian stars like RajniKanth, Kamal Hassan, Mohanlal, Mammooty etc normally undergoes ayurvedic treatment every year. This is the major adrenalin induced in these actors. Though these actors has crossed their 50's still they are more energetic than any youngster. In Kerala, there was eight families of Vaidyas (Ayurvedic consultants during that period) and they were called ashta vaidyas. And the tradition has passed on to generations. Kerala is the only state in India which follows ayurveda with dedication. Natural curing is the best medicine. Kottakal is one place in Kerala where you can find the best ayurvedic treatment center named Kottakal AryaVaidyaShala. Many foreign nationals visits here for treatment.
